            <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Job Title: Welder / Fabricator</strong></p><p>Location: Oakland</p><p>Pay: $30â$32 per hour (DOE)</p><p>Schedule: 50â60 hours per week | MondayâFriday, occasional Saturdays</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Welder/Fabricator</strong> to join our team in Oakland, CA. This role involves setting up welding equipment, interpreting blueprints, and performing a variety of fabrication tasks including welding, cutting, grinding, and finishing.</p><p>The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to a productive shop environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul>
<li>Up-to-date welding certifications (up to 4G)</li>
<li><strong>OSHA 10 certification or higher (required)</strong></li>
<li><strong>Must pass a pre-employment drug screening</strong></li>
<li>Valid driverâs license</li>
</ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul>
<li>Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products to specifications</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders</li>
<li>Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment</li>
<li>Perform cutting, grinding, and finishing work</li>
<li>Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy</li>
<li>Install and repair equipment and structural components</li>
<li>Calculate and verify material measurements</li>
<li>Operate shop equipment such as forklifts (as needed)</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Skills</strong></p><ul>
<li>2â3 years of experience in welding and fabrication</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and procedures</li>
<li>Ability to read shop drawings and follow instructions</li>
<li>Experience welding aluminum (1+ year preferred)</li>
<li>Physically capable of lifting, standing, and working in a shop environment</li>
