Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Virginia Licensed Electrician to join our industrial team in Amelia County, VA. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to code.
Pay & Benefits
- Rate: $54.14 per hour
- Per Diem: $90/day (paid 6 days per week — must meet per diem requirements with no absences or missed days)

Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Saturday (6 days/week)
Requirements
- Active Virginia Journeyman Electrician License (Required; must provide copy)
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Industrial electrical experience (new installs, upgrades, troubleshooting)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of safety practices and electrical codes
- Must have own basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, high-visibility vest, etc.)
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in an industrial setting
- Run conduit, pull wire, and install panels, switchgear, and control systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and accurately
- Follow NEC and site-specific safety regulations at all times
