Job Title: Structural Welder

Location: Birmingham, AL

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 45–55 hours per week, with occasional Saturdays as needed

Salary: $25–$28 per hour (DOE)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding, cutting, and fabricating metal structures according to blueprints and technical specifications.

You will work with a variety of metals and welding techniques to ensure high-quality results in compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld, cut, and fabricate metal structures and components based on blueprints and specifications.
• Utilize MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Inspect materials and completed welds to meet quality standards and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and schematics.
• Perform welding tasks in various environments, including construction sites and workshops.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all work follows safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Structural Welder with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Welding certification (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) preferred.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions.
• Must have OSHA 10 certification.
