PROJECT MANAGER – CONSTRUCTION

Location: Winter Park

Job Type: Full-Time | Year-Round

Starting Salary: $70,000 annually

Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (DOE)

Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil, commercial, and residential construction projects in and around Winter Park, CO. This is a year-round leadership role responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through completion while ensuring safety, quality, budget control, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing field teams, subcontractors, and heavy equipment operations in a mountain environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning to closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor job site progress and address delays or challenges proactively.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to ownership.
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • 3–7+ years of construction project management experience (civil or commercial preferred).
  • Strong understanding of excavation, site work, utilities, and heavy equipment operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting salary of $70,000, with earning potential up to $115,000+ based on experience.
