Industrial Pipefitter – Gary, IN

Pay: $32–$36 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 45–55 hours per week, some Saturdays

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters to join our team in Gary, IN.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble piping systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
• Weld pipes using FCAW and soldering methods
• Test piping systems for leaks and verify proper functionality
• Maintain and repair existing piping systems as needed
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and budget goals
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with OSHA and industry regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Pipefitter or similar role
• Strong knowledge of pipefitting tools, materials, and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Proficient in basic math and layout calculations
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• OSHA 10 required
• Pre-employment drug test required
