Job Description
Job Title: Pipefitter
Location: Peoria, IL
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Full-Time
Position Type: Long-Term Work
We are looking for experienced Pipefitters in Peoria, IL who are
proficient in threading pipe. If you have a strong mechanical
background, attention to detail, and experience with assembling,
installing, and maintaining piping systems, this position is a great

Primary Responsibilities:
Thread, cut, and assemble pipes according to specifications
Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding
Install pipe systems, supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
Select pipe sizes and materials based on job requirements
Test piping systems for leaks and troubleshoot issues as necessary
Secure pipes to structures using clamps, brackets, and hangers
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on piping systems
Follow safety guidelines and ensure a clean work environment
Requirements:
Proficient in threading and installing various types of pipe (carbon
steel, stainless, etc.)
Hands-on experience in pipefitting in industrial, commercial, or
residential settings
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical skills and understanding of piping systems
Ability to work independently and within a team
Must be detail-oriented and safety-conscious
