Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $28–$32 per hour (DOE)

Work Hours: 45–55 hours per week, with some Saturdays required

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Millwright to join our team in Springfield, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure proper operation.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools safely and effectively.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including alignment, calibration, and inspection of machinery.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects on schedule.
• Work flexible hours, including overtime, some Saturdays, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
• Journeyman Certification as a Millwright.
• OSHA 10 Certification required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
• Additional certifications in welding, machining, or industrial maintenance are a plus.
• Experience with industry-specific machinery or equipment is highly desirable.
