Job Title: Millwright Supervisor

Location: Anderson, SC

Pay Rate: $34-$38 per hour (DOE)

Per Diem: $100 per day worked

Hours: 45–55 hours per week


Position Summary:

The Millwright Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical field operations on assigned industrial projects. This role ensures that equipment installation, relocation, and demolition activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and company standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate field crews performing equipment setting, welding, piping, and demolition work
  • Interpret and execute work based on blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
  • Oversee rigging operations and ensure precise alignment of machinery and equipment
  • Enforce OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policies on job sites
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors
  • Ensure productivity, quality control, and adherence to project schedules
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, timecards, and job logs
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in the field
  • Mentor, train, and develop millwrights, welders, and pipefitters

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on millwright experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
  • Strong experience with equipment setting, welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), demolition, and industrial piping systems
  • Proficient in rigging practices, hoisting equipment, and precision layout tools
  • Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and industrial job site safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary crews on industrial projects
  • Willingness to work extended hours as required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • NCCER, AWS, or other relevant certifications preferred
  • OSHA 10 or higher certification required
  • Pre-employment drug screening required
