Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hour (DOE)
Per Diem: $90/day (paid all 7 days if no tardiness or absenteeism; must meet requirements)
Hours: 55–65 hours per week, working most Saturday's

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Millwrights and Riggers to join our team for industrial equipment installation and rigging projects in the Kansas City, KS area. This role involves precision alignment, heavy equipment setting, and safe rigging and hoisting operations on active industrial and construction sites.
Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with machinery installation, and a solid understanding of rigging practices. You will work as part of a crew responsible for unloading, positioning, aligning, and securing large mechanical equipment and structural components while maintaining strict safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:
Set up and inspect rigging equipment including slings, chains, chokers, and hoists
Determine load weights and proper rigging configurations for safe lifting
Signal crane operators and guide loads using tag lines
Move, position, and secure heavy machinery and equipment
Perform precision alignment of motors, pumps, conveyors, and industrial equipment
Use levels, dial indicators, lasers, and precision measuring tools
Bolt, shim, grout, and secure equipment to foundations or structures
Assist with mechanical assembly and installation of industrial components
Perform torch cutting when needed for removal or modification work
Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and rigging gear
Maintain and inspect tools and rigging hardware for safe use
Follow all site-specific safety procedures and wear required PPE
Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisors
Job Requirements:
Experience with industrial rigging and machinery installation required
Strong understanding of load charts, center of gravity, and safe lifting practices
Ability to read blueprints, layout drawings, and equipment schematics
Experience with precision alignment and leveling preferred
Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
Must have basic tools of the trade and reliable transportation
Must follow all company and job site safety policies
Must meet per diem eligibility requirements
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
OSHA 10 or higher certification required
