Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $28 – $32 per hour (DOE)
Work Hours: 45–55 hours per week, with some Saturdays required
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Millwright to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial machinery installation, maintenance, and repair.
This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure proper operation.
- Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools safely and effectively.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including alignment, calibration, and inspection of machinery.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects on time.
- Work flexible hours, including overtime, some Saturdays, and holidays as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
- Journeyman Certification as a Millwright.
- Must have OSHA 10 Certificate.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to lift, bend, climb, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
- Additional certifications in welding, machining, or industrial maintenance are a plus.
- Experience with specific types of machinery or equipment relevant to the industry is desirable.
