Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

We’re hiring skilled Maintenance Technicians for a full-time

opportunity in Decatur, IL. This role offers steady hours, competitive

pay, and per diem for qualified travelers. You’ll be responsible for

keeping production equipment running efficiently through preventative

maintenance and timely repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery

Diagnose issues with motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and other plant systems

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals

Work closely with production staff to minimize downtime and ensure

safe operations. Siemens controls repair experience is a plus

Requirements:

3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience

Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills

Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, and control systems

Ability to work 50 hours per week (some overtime required)

Must have basic hand tools and reliable transportation
