Job Description
Job Title: Journeyman Electrician – Virginia Licensed
Location: Richmond, VA
Compensation:
- Pay: $56.14 per hour
- Per Diem: $90.00/day (must be 60+ miles away to qualify) — paid 7 days per week with no absences
- Hours: 60–65 per week (Monday–Saturday) — Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
- Project Duration: 2 months
Requirements:
- Active Virginia Journeyman Electrician License (copy required)
- OSHA 10 certification (copy required)
- Proven industrial electrical experience
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Availability to start November 3rd
- Must provide own PPE and FR (flame-resistant) clothing, including:
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses
- Gloves
- Steel-toe boots
- High-visibility vest
- Flame-resistant shirt and pants
- Must have basic electrical hand tools
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
Basic Electrical Skills:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Run and bend EMT, Rigid, and PVC conduit up to 4”
- Pull wire, terminate panels, and install switchgear, MCCs, and transformers
- Perform lockout/tagout and ensure jobsite safety compliance
- Test electrical systems using multimeters, meggers, and other diagnostic tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently as part of a team and independently under minimal supervision
- Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and site-specific safety requirements

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Licensed Electricians with strong industrial backgrounds for a 2-month project in Richmond, VA.
