We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to join our industrial installation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel piping, primarily Schedule 10, in fabrication and field installation environments.
TESTING WILL BE IN INDIANAPOLIS, THEN THE JOB WILL BE IN MICHIGAN
$160/DAY PER DIEM
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, thread, and install stainless and carbon steel piping systems
- Perform layout, fit-up, and assembly using blueprints and isometric drawings
- Weld, groove, or flange connections per specifications
- Inspect piping systems for leaks, alignment, and code compliance
- Collaborate with welders and other trades to ensure quality and efficiency
- Maintain a safe and clean work area following OSHA standards
Requirements:
- Journeyman-level pipefitting experience (minimum 4 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of stainless and carbon Schedule 10 piping
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and pipe fabrication equipment
- OSHA 10 or higher certification preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work overtime as needed
