Journeyman Electrician
Location: Creston, IA
Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour (depending on experience)
Position: Full-Time
We are seeking experienced and skilled Journeyman Electricians to join our team in Creston, IA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on various projects while maintaining high-quality electrical installations and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan Wiring Layouts: Design wiring plans and follow diagrams, ensuring wiring is installed before walls and ceilings are completed.
  • Install Conduits: Measure, cut, and install electrical conduits using specialized tools for a neat and efficient setup.
  • Connect Wires Safely: Pull, organize wires through conduits, connect power cables, and ensure all connections are secure and functional.
  • Set Up Equipment: Install electrical equipment, switches, and circuit breaker panels, and conduct necessary tests for functionality.
  • Prioritize Safety: Follow safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and maintain tools and equipment in top condition.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience in electrical work.
  • Skills and Competencies: Expertise in using electrical tools and equipment, color distinction ability, and a solid knowledge of safety procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, follow instructions, and communicate with supervisors to ensure successful project completion.
