Position: Ironworker
Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States
Pay: $28–$32 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 45–55 hours per week, with occasional Saturdays
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Ironworker to join our team in Wichita, Kansas.
In this role, you will be responsible for erecting structural steel, assembling metal buildings, and installing precast components on commercial and industrial construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel erection, rigging, and blueprint reading, along with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:
- Perform ironworking tasks including erecting structural steel, installing precast concrete panels, and assembling metal buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components.
- Operate cranes, hoists, and related machinery to position and lift steel components into place.
- Install rigging systems and hoisting equipment for safe and efficient lifting operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards to maintain a secure work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the construction team to complete projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Ironworker.
- Skilled in metal building erection and rigging operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of steel construction methods and materials.
- Physical stamina and strength for demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have OSHA 10 or higher certification.
