Job Description
Job Title: Iron Worker / Welder
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: 45–55 hours per week, overtime available
Per Diem: $100.00 per day worked (must meet requirements to qualify)
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Iron Workers/Welders to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position involves the fabrication, installation, and repair of structural steel components in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Set up hoisting and rigging equipment to raise and place structural steel members.
- Attach steel members to hoists using chains, cables, or ropes.
- Signal crane or hoist operators to lift and position steel members safely.
- Guide steel members into position using tag lines and hand tools.
- Align, bolt, and temporarily secure members using spud wrenches and drift pins.
- Verify vertical and horizontal alignment using levels, plumb bobs, and other measuring tools.
- Bolt or weld components to permanently secure structures in place.
- Perform cutting and welding tasks using oxyacetylene and related equipment.
- Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with positioning and securing materials during installation.
- Maintain tools and equipment, performing minor repairs or cleaning as needed.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety policies, wearing required PPE at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have OSHA 10 or higher certification.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to work precisely and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of shop mathematics and basic rigging principles.
- Skilled in selecting and using proper tools and equipment for the task.
- Ability to distinguish differences in size, shape, and form of materials.
- Must meet quality requirements to qualify for per diem.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
