Job Description

Job Summary:

As the Lead HVAC Mechanic, you will oversee day-to-day HVAC operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing system issues, mentoring junior technicians, and coordinating projects from start to finish.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience, including commercial and/or industrial systems
  • EPA Universal Certification (Required)
  • HVAC/R trade school or equivalent training
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
  • Manage inventory and equipment on job sites
