Job Description
Electrical Equipment Technician
1. Terminal Block Installation and Wiring Work:
Attach Terminal Blocks:
- Identify the appropriate location for the terminal blocks.
- Mark the positions for drilling holes using a measuring tape and pencil.
- Use a handy auto drill to create holes for attaching the terminal blocks securely.
Wiring on Terminal Blocks:
- Prepare the wires by stripping off the appropriate length of insulation using wire strippers.
- Insert the stripped wires into the terminal blocks and tighten the screws to secure the wires.
- Use lug fasteners to ensure a secure connection.
Note:
- Due to the narrow space, ensure that a person of suitable size and agility performs the installation and wiring work.
2. Door Adjustment (Steel Door and Stopper):
Adjusting the Stopper:
- Identify the stopper's current position and determine the desired adjustment.
- Detach the stopper from its current position carefully.
- Adjust the stopper's location to achieve the desired door alignment.
- Securely reattach the stopper in the adjusted position.
Holding the Heavy Door:
- Ensure the heavy door is supported securely during the stopper adjustment to prevent injury or damage.
3. Electrical Buses and Bushing Relocation:
Detaching Buses and Bushings:
- Identify the buses and bushings that need to be relocated based on the job requirements.
- Safely disconnect and detach the buses and bushings from their current positions.
Relocating Buses and Bushings:
- Identify the new location for the buses and bushings based on the job specifications.
- Carefully relocate and secure the buses and bushings in the new designated positions.
Note:
- Due to the heaviness of the electrical buses, ensure proper equipment and safety measures are in place for handling and relocating them.
