Job Title: Construction Welder

Location: Cleveland, OH

$28-$30 per hour

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Welder to join our team in Cleveland, OH. As a Construction Welder, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and construction of various structures. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Welding Operations: Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding operations according to project specifications.
• Acetylene Torch: Must be able to use an acetylene torch for hot forming and stress relief
• Arc Welding: Proficiently execute Arc welding techniques for various construction applications.
• Welding Certifications: Possess or be open to obtaining 3G, 4G, and 6G welding certifications.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to meet project requirements.
• Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting.
• Quality Control: Ensure the quality and integrity of welds by inspecting work and conducting necessary repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and care for welding equipment, ensuring proper functionality.

Qualifications:

• Welding Skills:
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding.
• Experience with Arc Welding techniques.
• Certifications:
• 3G, 4G, and 6G welding certifications are a plus.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a Welder in a construction setting.
• Safety Awareness:
• Strong commitment to safety practices.
• Blueprint Reading:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Adaptability:
• Ability to adapt to different materials and welding methods as per project requirements.
